TalentSage 360° assessments focus on the development of individuals by soliciting highly specific feedback from supervisors, peers, and direct reports as well as a self-assessment. This is where the "360°" term comes from, as opposed to just feedback form just direct reports (upward feedback) or feedback from one's supervisor (traditional performance appraisals). The goal of our 360° assessments is to improve awareness of individual’s strengths and weaknesses so participants can take a targeted approach to professional development by comparing their self-perceptions to the perceptions of the people with whom they work with most closely.

TalentSage 360° assessments are easy to use and are completely customizable. Items to be included on your assessment may be chosen from our existing database used by hundreds of companies and educational institutions or you may supply your own set of items to be used. All assessments are completed online and the reports may be delivered to you online as well.
The web/mobile-based assessment is easy for participants and raters to access and navigate. The process is automated but we offer personal service should questions arise.
Our reporting package offers a variety of choices for the presentation of the information in the assessment. You can choose a longer, more complex report or a shorter report based on your needs and preferences. Your logo can be included on the report to further customize your assessment.

Participant-Nominated Leadership Assessments
These 360s seek meaningful feedback from raters nominated by the person being assessed and are intended to identify the participant’s leadership strengths and weaknesses. The results are most often used to inform professional growth and development plans as part of a business school curriculum or corporate leadership enhancement program.
Talent Sage has performed these assessments for groups ranging in size from fewer than 10 participants to more than 400 participants. The questions used are customized for each group’s particular needs and priorities. Business acumen, interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and many other attributes are explored and the results presented in a private report for each participant.
Client-Nominated Leadership Assessments
These 360s seek meaningful feedback from raters nominated by the client rather than the individual being assessed and are designed to identify that person’s leadership strengths and weaknesses. Such assessments are most often used by an employer to help an individual identify areas in which to improve their skills and performance.
Talent Sage has performed these assessments for both academic and corporate clients. The questions used can be customized to provide additional focus in areas of particular concern to the client. Assessment reports are typically provided to both the participant and the client’s designated Human Resources representative.
Internal 360 Leadership Assessments
These 360s seek meaningful feedback for each member of a group or sub-group from all other members of that group. The results are most often used to inform professional growth and development plans of the individual group members and can be performed as an adjunct to a participant-nominated (external) leadership assessment 360. It is not intended to assess and improve group dynamics, but rather its purpose is to seek feedback about the leadership attributes of an individual from the other members of a group with whom an individual works exclusively.
Talent Sage has performed these assessments for members of business school study groups who have also participated in external (participant-nominated) leadership assessments. We believe internal 360 assessments could be used across a wide variety of groups, particularly those groups that do not have an existing leadership hierarchy, such as volunteer groups, ad hoc committees, etc. to help individuals improve their personal contribution to the success of the group.

Board of Governors Chair Leadership Assessments
These assessments are essentially an internal 360 focused on the leadership attributes of the chairperson of a non-profit board of governors. They tend to be highly customized based on the underlying purpose(s) of the non-profit organization. Because feedback from each board member is being solicited, the process can also be used to survey the breadth of skills those board members believe that they bring to the non-profit organization.
Group Dynamics Assessments
Talent Sage is developing a 360 assessment process aimed at identifying the dynamics of a given group and then offering feedback about how the group as a whole could improve its performance, based on current peer-reviewed organisational behaviour research. We expect this new 360 assessment process to become available in the Spring of 2015.
